UNDERSTANDING SNORING
Snoring is not purely a predicament for middle-aged people, up to 40% of women and 60% of men of all age groups snore. In fact, there were reported cases that children also snored!
The causes of snoring in women and men stem from many reasons, which include being born with a deviated septum or lifestyle factors such as being overweight, drinking too much alcohol and excessive smoking to name a few. Snoring might also be a sign to a more serious type of snoring called sleep apnea snoring.
HOW SNORING IS GENERATED?
Basically, snoring is generated when there is physical obstruction of the air flowing through the mouth and nose. The snoring sound effects vary from one person to another person. They can be soft or rather loud and not pleasant at all. When we breathe, the walls of the pharynx made the sound. The pharynx is the part of the throat at the back of the tongue that is kept open by several small muscles. While sleeping, these muscles become loose. When they are relaxed, they collapse and narrow the airway. This partially blocks the air passage and causes the pharyngeal walls to vibrate when breathing in. If the airway becomes narrower, the vibration becomes greater and the snoring becomes louder. But don't lose hope because there are many snoring remedies and stop snoring aids that can be part of your ways to stop snoring.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF SNORING
